In my Amazon Prime’s history you will not see a single Malayalam movie. My preference are Kannada, Tamil, Hindi amd English in same order. Also I prefer to watch latest movies.
But I am pleasently surprised by the recommendation of GUNAA a classis movie from 1991. Everyone remembers 2 very famous songs from this movie.
One is “Kanmani anbodu kaadhalan naan ezhuthu kadidame” which is shot in a CAVE.
Another is “Paartha vizhi” in which Kamal Hassan will be swinging left to right to see his love interest.
Ok it is a great movie, but why it is recommended for me, now?
A Malayalam movie released 3 weeks ago, in which a group of friends decide to go for a vacation to Kodaikanal. All happy fun until one of them falls into a CAVE!!!
Yes, this is the same CAVE of ‘Kanmani anbodu kaadhalan naan ezhuthu kadidame’! Because of this Guna a 1991 classic movie is in trend and Amazon suggests me to watch it 🙂.
By the way, what happened to the person who fell into the cave? Did he survives, What was the emotions and reactions of his friends? were they able to rescue him? That forms the storyline of ‘MANJUMMEL BOYS’ a survival thriller movie.
Excited to watch both the movies 😇.
